CANOEING ZAMBEZI RIVER - (CHIRUNDU TO MANA POOLS)

3 NIGHTS/4 DAYS - MAX 9 PERSONS

This safari has proved to be the most popular on the Zambezi River as it is an
adventurous way for the visitor to see the world-renowned Mana Pools National Park.
Our safari, which is a 'client participation' safari, starts on a Sunday and the vehicle
leaves Kariba early in the morning, stopping at the various hotels to collect clients. Our
last pick-up point is Makuti Travel Lodge, Makuti (76km from Kariba on the Harare/Chirundu road). The canoes are launched at Chirundu and Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights are spent on islands on the Zambezi River designated by National Parks. On Wednesday morning the clients are met at Nyamepi Camp, Mana Pools by our vehicle. A reduced trip (2 nights on the river) could also be arranged, as well as staying at Mana Pools for any length of time in an exclusive tented camp on the banks of the Zambezi River.
Canoeing on the Zambezi affords an unparalleled opportunity to experience the river.
